I'm currently finishing my 2nd year Computer Science exam season. It sucks, big, big time.
I really like it, but it consumes all of my time, which is a bummer. I have plenty of projects I'd like to get on with, namely, roguelike development (of course).
Aside from that, I'm currently a (lowly) member of the Order of Chivalry of Sacred Portugal. We re-enact as historically accurately as possible an Order of Chivalry from centuries XII to XV, plus a few other epochs. I took a one-year blacksmithing course at
HCT's Rural Crafts Center in the UK before entering university, and as soon as I get some decent time on my hands, it is my plan to set up a forge and start smithing! Hopefully Portugal will have an infrastructure such as
BABA and
ABANA in the future.
Oh, and I also recently got interesting in iron smelting through the bloomery process, so it's also in my plans!
I blame university for not being able to practice any of the things I've mentioned above at a decent rate anymore.
