Wanted to let you know I've just released v902 of Legends of Yore (I forgot to update roguebasin
), the casual roguelike adventure. Legends of Yore is designed to bring the roguelike experience to a more casual audience. The game world is always growing and being developed - as is the game. It currently features
- A cast of over 200 characters and monsters
- An array of over 200 items including weapons, armor, spells, skills and crafting items
- An overland world 31000 square tiles in size (including 8 towns and 10+ dungeons)
- A variety of quests
- 3 different starting classes with 6 additional advanced classes available at level 50
- Wonderful 8 bit graphics provided by the master Oryx and extended by the wonderful community around the game.
The game is available for PC/Mac/Linux (requires Java) as a download, via the web and on iOS and Android (via their respective markets). Whats more, if you start you adventure on one platform you can save to the cloud and continue your adventure on another. Play on your PC at home, continue on the bus on the way to work via your phone, then on the web when you're at work (assuming your boss isn't looking).
