I guess this release is not an official 7drl competition release because it was released after the deadline, but it is still a 7drl as I started it seven days ago.

Great premise: suicide dwarves are awesome.

This is really a remarkable effort for seven days. You ought to be proud of yourself. The nature of the dwarven existence plus ancient architecture plus the interesting skill progressions equals an already deep-feeling experience. This could easily become a full-fledged roguelike if you happened to have the time - the theme, tone, and setting (i.e. the important stuff) is already clear and clean.

This is the most fun I've had with a new roguelike I've played since... maybe Crawl Stone Soup. And it's so simple! Thanks for offering it.

Aye, not unlike your other big killin', keeping this going is surely a good idea.   8)

I like your game, but for 2 times I had to quit because, after I went on the souther part of the dungeon, the screen blocked; moving north the dwarf was proceeding but the part of the map displayed wasn't! I had this problem with the ASCII and the tiles version as well.
What I enjoy the most in roguelikes: Anti-Farming and Mac Givering my way out. Kind of what I also enjoy in life.

It is something that I came up with last year, I needed something simple but powerful to grab attention. Anyway I like it.  And I really appreciative your comments, I think that the theme and setting is really important in a game.  I have always wanted to play a roguelike where dwarfs were the main character. They always have such history and culture behind them that they are interesting and diverse enough to just make it work.
And yes I have 100s of ideas to make this game better and yes I will definitely continue it.

That might be an overreaction but it certainly inspires me.

And yes Getter, Sewerjacks might be put on the back burner for this one.

Looking into it... :(  Cant replicate it.  What game screen resolution are you running at, and are you running fullscreen? What dungeon level were you on?

And if you could tell me the dungeon seed, found in stdout.txt, that would help. However if you use the Random Name generator the seed is no longer valid. (unless you tell me how many times you used the name generator before accepting).

Talking about seeds, you can seed your own dungeon with the -seed x option.

Excellent...I'm a fan of alternating things up to flesh out things moreso while others catch up somewhat---pretty much my strategy every month on Slash's Powerpolls.   :D
