If you like rouge like's this game is for you. No Ad's no BS. Nor is it free - but nothing in life is.  3.49 for ALOT of gameplay. I also worked pretty hard on this over a few years. Uses custom engine, game mechanics, ect. If you have any questions, issues, let me know. I will be happy to help! ;D

Ultimate Virtue is a first person rogue like inspired adventure with random map generation. You play as the Guardian – a mere avatar of your will projected into the world of Malignity by a ancient Gateway. As the Guardian, you are not only trying to cleanse the lands of Malignity of this evil – but to prevent it’s corruption from growing into yours. You must overcome fragments of a underground fortress - an abyss created eons ago from the remnants of a great civilization. You are hunting the the Harbringer of destruction deep below. You will discover flooded caves, mines, underground lakes, crypts, remnants of the fortress, and more. The game also suppourts classic rougelike character tracking online.

Not all rogue like games are free. In fact Steam has pretty pricey ones. The reason there is cost, is because of features, such as online character "tombstones" and more. I do not plan to make it "Big time" with this app. It was more because I could, for fun, and I enjoy this genera. It's a smaller audience for sure and I am okay with that.

Sorry for the typo.  ::) I am happy to finally get this out for people to try. Let me know if you have any issues/bugs or concerns if you do end up playing.

FYI, I am considering making a free-ware version. No character saving (but you could still play in a long sitting) and minus a few more  features. Of course, the free version would be Ad-free.  Right now, my spare time, will be fixing any bugs for the paid version. And if it does get enough interests, I will add new content. Perhaps even COOP over the net.

Hmmm. I gave the game a go, and I think it has potential, but right now it doesn't entice me to keep playing.

In principle I like the graphical style, but the visuals are so unclear as to be almost incomprehensible. Also, the interface gets no explanation - e.g. I think I interacted with a shopkeeper but I'm not certain; some pictures appeared but I'm not sure what they are, which of us they belong to, or how to proceed.

In the end I decided I have better things to do with my time than try to figure it out. With more user-friendliness I'd be willing to give it another try. Needs work though.

Hi Samildanach,

Thanks for giving the game a try! I have released 7 patches since release day. As for graphics, there is an option to raise them in the options menu. I am working on even allowing higher clarity. I appreciate your complements and criticisms! I also plan, on adding basic control tutorials. The game does indeed have a lot of complexity.  I agree,the GUI has a learning curve but is quick/streamlined once learned. Hopefully, with more tweaks and a in game explanation will help! :)

If you ever give the game a try again: To by stuff from a shop keeper, you click on the shop item and then click on your players bag. To examine a item, press down for a second. Or just tap a Item to see the cost of it. For stack able objects, the number is displayed by default on the icon.
