Most exciting upcoming Roguelike
« on: August 14, 2016, 04:17:19 PM »
What are your´s?
I prefer well crafted and extensive games with lots of content (My favorites are DCSS and Cataclysm DDA). The one´s im looking forward the most are Cogmind and Caves of Qud although haven´t played them yet (I´m waiting for final releases; as far as that concept applies to RLs hahaha).

I think the best ones would be Kaduria and the binding of jesus: afterrage.

I´ve been following Kaduria´s blog for a while, it seems to me one of those project doomed to stagnation after the dev loses interest. I´ll keep an eye on it though.

Curious about The Binding of Jesus, is it a proper Roguelike based on The Binding of Isaac? Tried Googling it and found nothing except biblical dissections. Care to provide any links?

The next version of Nethack, it's interesting to see how they are going to add something to the timeless classic.

I think that was a tongue in cheek answer.

Jupiter Hell's development starts to look hot, so...

I backed Jupiter Hell so I'm really pumped for that. Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 will probably be neat too. I really want Caves of Qud though, my god does that look amazing.

Naturally Jupiter Hell.

But take a look at

Tangledeep & Midboss

They're newly released and need the communities support if possible.

Unoriginally, Jupiter Hell. That Kornel Kisielewicz has done such a great job with DoomRL (now DRL).
Also having a blast with Caverns of Qud and looking forward for the project to be launched officially for the complete version.
That's about it as I haven't been playing much recently.
What I enjoy the most in roguelikes: Anti-Farming and Mac Givering my way out. Kind of what I also enjoy in life.
