Gerty is a rogue-lite shooter that takes place in caves of distant worlds.
The game play focuses on fast and skill based combat and exploration. The player digs through the terrain to find the teleporter which will take them to the next level. The terrain contains "juice" which can be collected and used to buy items of various powers that help the player to kill and evade monsters. Every world has it's own theme which alters the experience. I.e. the second world has plants filled with poisonous gas that explode when shot, whereas in the first world you can blast your gun anywhere without having to worry about the consequences. There are melee monsters, shooting monsters, exploding monsters and activateable objects that provide challenges and rewards.
Current build features- The first world (four levels and a boss fight)

- Perks to amplify characters abilities
- 18 items, which some of them must be unlocked first.
- Perma death. All the progression except unlocks are lost on death.
- Local co-op up to four players
- Controller support
Gerty is already greenlit and we're looking forward to release it next year. We're currently working on the second and the third world and will be updating the demo build soon-ish. At this point we'd love to get feedback from you. Thanks!
