Just thought I'd resurrect this thread since I recently got some more roguelikes running on my WM 5 PocketPC. All of these require the use of a Gameboy Advance emulator - I recommend the excellent
PocketGBA for this.
Here are the roguelikes I got running with that:
POWDER - Still getting to know it but it seems like a really well-developed and fun roguelike. Note: When you load this with PocketGBA be sure to set "Don't use Cart. mask" in the System Setup panel for PocketGBA - it didn't work otherwise.
AGB_Rogue and AGB_Hack - These have been mentioned here on Roguetemple in the news. I haven't had much chance to try them out thoroughly yet but they seem to work fine under emulation. Just rename the .bin part of the ROM file to .gba to get it to load in PocketGBA. Also I think the "Don't use Cart. mask" setting is needed as with POWDER.
As for the Java stuff Slash mentioned - I still haven't looked into that very much but might try to get a virtual machine running sometime.
I'm really enjoying POWDER so far...
