Ok to post my Ascii game engine here?
« on: December 28, 2013, 12:27:58 AM »
I wanted to post information about a Ascii game engine (which can be used to make classic roguelike games) I've been making for about 3 years now over in the Development forum, or the Announcements forum, would that be appropriate? I've released a series of new versions of it over the last few months and I would love to have people start using it.

I'm new here so I didn't want to do something right off the bat that would be frowned upon.

Thanks.

Go for it! At least post info about it in the Announcements board. There and the Development board if you want to go into more detail about its features and your own progress developing it, rather than just release notes.

Yeah we aren't that hardcore about the rules really. People announce in the announcement thread, and here is where we talk about design issues. So whatever you want. Post both places if you want.
