In DCSS we can do a 15-rune run
In ADOM we can do a Ultimate Chaos God ending

What other roguelikes have "endings" with additional challenges?

In ToME 3 you could optionally go after a harder version of Morgoth after beating him the first time for a better ending.

Doesn't Nethack have some sort of special behaviors? Like vegan and what not? Do those give special bonus endings?

I think they are called 'conducts'.

Brogue has something similar to the 15-rune run.
ToME4 has an optional extra superboss (the giant golem Atamathon).

Yes, they are called "conducts" but you don't get a special ending. It's just for making the game more interesting for those would can easily ascend the normal game. Some forks have a special atheist ending where you give the gods the finger and take the amulet home with you.

Omega had several different endings but I don't know which of those were special and not just simple endings for the character path you've chosen.

In DoomRL, if you kill the final boss in a special way you get to fight the final-final boss.

The problem with Nethack is that the challenges are reducing the players options and power. I prefer something that throws additional trials for the player. Sure, the ADOM example is more about farming for certains but it still throws harder stuff than regular ending.

It also doesn't change what happens in the ending iirc.

When you say "special endings," are you looking for games where the player's actions can influence the outcome of the game's narrative, or are you after games with challenging "postgame" content?

It's a little bit of a stretch, but in Ragnarok, the number of Aesir who survive the final battle depends on how successful you were in completing your quests.  Does that count?

This got me very interested. What forks are we talking about? Unnethack?

I am just wondering what roguelikes have challenging "postgame" content. But that big of Ragnarok got me interested. Thanks!
