The voting is over and results are up:
http://proceduraldeathjam.com/content/pdj-resultsGolden Krone Hotel got 2nd (or tied for 2nd) for categories 'Best "Procedural"' and 'Best Berlin-Interpretation Roguelike'... though you'd only see that if you go into the individual categories and sort. I'll have to check out some of the winners. The overall winner was "Lamp and Vamp" which sounds hilariously similar to my game in some ways.
I must confess I didn't participate in voting at all. The thought of playing anywhere near 50 games in a week seemed impossible. I've seen people on youtube/twitter playing all the games, but clearly they weren't spending a lot of time with them. One youtuber did 1 minute per game, which was barely enough to read through a couple of my intro screens. I counted around 160 votes in the overall category and since you were allowed to vote for 25% of all games in each category, that could be as few as a dozen people voting in the worst case.
I rather appreciate the 7drl reviewing by comparison. It takes longer, but you're at least guaranteed several hours were spent carefully considering your game. And you get detailed feedback. Many of these games in PDJ haven't received any votes at all.
