  I don't own Starcraft II, but I have the demo. I think it's called the trial version or something. I downloaded the beta and was able to play this map no problem.

  So you don't have to actually own SCII, just download the beta and maybe the trial version and you can play Diablo I in this wonky way for free.

Does this SC map contain the whole Diablo 1 or just a small part?

  Looks like it's the whole thing. You can pick a class and everything. There may be parts missing but the program is just incomplete.

If you're looking for a challenge, there's a fantastic co-op game called CraftCraft that is super fun. Me and my friend tend to go through the far back pages of the custom games list and play all the obscure co-op games when we're not up to 2v2ing.
