Greetings, fellow roguelike fans!

Today, I would like to present to you the first trailer showcasing the early to mid game adventure gameplay of Soulash 2, a sandbox traditional roguelike about exploration, adventure, rise to power, and conquest.

Here it is:

Soulash 2 is a continuation after the world's destruction in the first game. This time we'll begin as mortals in a world on the brink of destruction where we may choose which part of history will involve our characters. It will feature procedurally generated worlds, regions, and simulated history of civilized settlements to enhance replayability, it has a much deeper crafting system based on resource selection, it has building, a new skill-based progression system, trading, and more.

The EA will be released around December this year, and it's planned for a full year. The exact date will come as we get closer, and we'll have a free demo for a limited duration before the EA release, so if any of this sounds interesting to you, wishlist the game to try it soon.

Soulash is a fantasy roguelike where you take the role of a forgotten god set to destroy the world.
The game is currently in active development, with the most recent version 0.3.4 that introduced the first 3 content editors.

Explore the open-world built from 700k tiles, destroy villages, keeps, and big cities in your path. Use over 100 abilities to burn people, break their houses and corrupt their land.

- Multiple races and professions to choose from during character creation.
- Animated abilities to choose from.
- Destructible terrain, your actions change the world as you go through it.
- Dynamic weather system with wind and rain.
- Randomized items with affixes, used and dropped by your enemies.
- Procedural description generated for most enemies.
- Crafting mechanics with woodcutting, mining, salvaging, fishing, skinning, and butchering.
- Survival mechanics based on the requirements of consuming food and water, blood or life essence depending on selected race, stamina, and fatigue.
- Modern GUI with buttons and tooltips for every available action.
- ASCII / Glyph graphics with 3D effects and animations.
- Modding support with in-game editors for creating new maps, entities and spawn groups (ability and animation editors coming next year).
