Greetings, fellow roguelike fans!

Today, I would like to present to you the first trailer showcasing the early to mid game adventure gameplay of Soulash 2, a sandbox traditional roguelike about exploration, adventure, rise to power, and conquest.

Soulash 2 is a continuation after the world's destruction in the first game. This time we'll begin as mortals in a world on the brink of destruction where we may choose which part of history will involve our characters. It will feature procedurally generated worlds, regions, and simulated history of civilized settlements to enhance replayability, it has a much deeper crafting system based on resource selection, it has building, a new skill-based progression system, trading, and more.

The EA will be released around December this year, and it's planned for a full year. The exact date will come as we get closer, and we'll have a free demo for a limited duration before the EA release, so if any of this sounds interesting to you, wishlist the game to try it soon.

Hey guys, it's been a long time since I dropped an update and it seems some things changed over here as I can't modify my main post due to the inability to provide external links. ;D

I've been working on Soulash for the past 4 years, and we now have some new, big features like destructible terrain, a dialogue system, a new desert area with multiple interesting locations like the Black Pyramid where the second strongest character resides. But the one feature often requested that I'm the most excited to share with you today is the new graphics mod. Just 3 months ago I came across a very talented artist Xiclu, who has an incredible vision for the game. See for yourself!

Just yesterday we've launched a Kickstarter campaign to secure funds to apply this style to the whole game and improve upon it with alternative sprites and additional animations. If there's enough interest, we would also love to add other big features many players asked for like building, servants, factions, and a procedural world generator!
We have a working demo of the graphics mod with a link on our Kickstarter page, so give it a try and consider donating for a good cause - the creation of a massive, unique, traditional roguelike.

Thanks, I have a long list of things to add to the game based on the initial feedback and the game will continue to get better.  :)

Soulash is a fantasy roguelike where you take the role of a forgotten god set to destroy the world.
The game is currently in active development, with the most recent version 0.3.4 that introduced the first 3 content editors.

Explore the open-world built from 700k tiles, destroy villages, keeps, and big cities in your path. Use over 100 abilities to burn people, break their houses and corrupt their land.

Features
- Multiple races and professions to choose from during character creation.
- Animated abilities to choose from.
- Destructible terrain, your actions change the world as you go through it.
- Dynamic weather system with wind and rain.
- Randomized items with affixes, used and dropped by your enemies.
- Procedural description generated for most enemies.
- Crafting mechanics with woodcutting, mining, salvaging, fishing, skinning, and butchering.
