In the last few years all successful entrants were awarded an image of a medal to decorate their roguebasin pages, has that not happened this year? Assuming I havent missed it, I'd be happy to give making one a crack myself :)

Slash is the one who usually organises medals.

Meanwhile in another part of the web...
Pol a user from r.g.r.d has kindly done a very quick review on a lot of the 7drls.

I don't think that my little exercise, GUNFIST!, is very roguelike.
  It is realtime

Failed pretty soon. Realtime=not a roguelike. And I failed to read the message. Time to go back in game development..

Too bad I had problems running some of the games.. in my opinion it would be better if every game could be ready-to-play after downloading it; a .exe file, curses and other necessary-to-run stuff in the main folder. In the way some game are currently uploaded it can be a problem for people like me who are not very practical with computer programming.
Just my 2 cents!
What I enjoy the most in roguelikes: Anti-Farming and Mac Givering my way out. Kind of what I also enjoy in life.

With these reviews it was evident what problems were encounted when he tried reviewing them. For a window user anyway.
