A tactical 7DRL about a Roman legionary who has his soul split in two by a witch. You can follow the development, no matter how embarrassing, at https://github.com/Keith-Bateman/phalanx

As far as I'm concerned this was a success. I set out to create a complete roguelike that emphasizes the tactical components of roguelikes while attempting to execute some genuinely unique ideas, and I believe that I did that. I had to do it out of challenge, because school tends to keep me busy, and breaks tend to be short. Anyway, please check it out on GitHub at the link I posted above. There's an executable for x86_64 GNU/Linux systems (compiled on Ubuntu), otherwise you can try compiling it yourself.

This has been my first contribution to the forums here, and I've enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to developing more games in the future.

I'd also like to do a bugfix release eventually that cleans up some of the problems that I've seen, and to prepare executables for the popular Windows and MacOS platforms.
