Thought I would jump in and remind you guys that you DONT actually eat books in my game. If you tried you would either be unable to fit it in your mouth or would choke to death.


I could do something else though lol.


Perhaps add a "fiber bar" and eating books increases that.

Seems completely logical. And it would extend my hunger system to add more choices. I am totally going to add this!!!11!1111

You might not be able to eat the whole book at once, but you could eat the pages one by one.

You might not be able to eat the whole book at once, but you could eat the pages one by one.
Regarding this, I remember once considering the idea of adding something like a 'nibble' command to a RL, as a safer way to use-ID potions etc. The devil is in the details, of course, but in a game that allows choking on armor, some kind of safety valve might be a good idea.
