I would love to have a review of my game, 1Quest, by experienced roguelike players.

1Quest is a classical roguelike, turn-based, where you kill monsters, get experience to raise stats and skills, and pickup loot in randomly generated dungeons, until you find the bid bad boss and kill it. There is no strict perma-death in campaign mode (you can failed up to 8 times), but the perfect victory requires to not die. I added a new infinite mode (the tower of chaos), for fun and with perma-death. Some player use it as a scoring contest, which is really great.

The game can be played for free here: http://www.kongregate.com/games/RatzNGodz/1quest

I've already post a bunch of information here: http://forums.roguetemple.com/index.php?topic=3878

Ideally the game is moddable (about everything is in xml), but I still have to create documentation for it, and it is low priority as I got a lot of things to do.

My The Temple of Torment could be reviewed too, though I have no idea how cool or promising it is.

The Temple of Torment is a roguelike with a much greater focus on roleplaying and dialogues. It's set in a fantasy world inhabited only by humans.

It could be described as a turn-based Diablo with roleplaying from D&D computer games. Basically the story is about a gate to Hell being opened below a huge temple and demons are pouring out to the world. Adventures going in to to the temple either for fame and glory or to help people.

Also with optional perma-death and ascii graphics. New content and patches should be coming at every month with the next patch being released within 1,5 weeks.

My signature has all the relevant links.

I would like to ask you to review Veins of the Earth, as I've recently put out a new beta (5.7).

It is a d20-based game set in the same world that Incursion uses, but with the added advantages of tiles and a worldmap.

New betas are published roughly once a month in summer and once every three months during the university year.

Some screenshots can be found in the threads here at roguetemple or at ModDB site

I would really like to get The Ground Gives Way (for Windows) reviewed (currently at Release #2, Release #3 coming shortly)!

It is a coffebreak roguelike with lots of items and highly varying play. Every game looks very different, is very quick to play and has a modern interface. No grinding or character levels,  progress is made through equipment and training.

Screenshots, information, downloads, game manual and FAQ is available at: http://www.thegroundgivesway.com/

Actually, I was made aware of an error when assigning points to attributes in char creation, so maybe postpone the review a bit? The fix's waiting to make it into my repo...

If the reviews have a version number that they refer to (or a date of the build), the authors won't have to post in fear that part of the review will be obsolete.

Hey.  I've been working on Caverns of Xaskazien II for 4 years, and am nearing a public release (though a far way from implementing everything I want to in the game).  More than a year ago, I posted a bunch of videos to youtube showing the progress of the game.  I've worked on it pretty much every day since, so understand that the video shows very ancient progress (version 0.28ish vs. the version 0.52 I'm currently working on), but since I don't want to post any new videos until the game is ready for a release, I thought I'd link you into those to get some feedback and hopefully get people excited about the game's not too distant release (figuring a couple months).

The first of the vids can be seen here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmcN7xNpLgY   There's a link at the end of each video to the next one if you get bored of my rather detailed commentary on any one video and want to skip ahead to see what else the game offers.

Thanks!

That's an awesome surprise in general that there's a sequel to CoX so far along after all this time!   8)   Welcome to the Temple of the Roguelike.

I've been watching the CoX2 videos and it seems very promising. I'm excited to play it.

What "state of completion" are you looking for for these kind of submissions?

My project is in really early development and I was planning to show some environments in the first quarter of 2015 but I do have some screenshots.

I've been following the Temple for a while and I'd be cool to see/talk about what the roguelike crowd is expecting out of their games.  From your "Roguelike interpretation" article, my project fails the turn-based and grid feature requires to be a classic roguelike.
