A few years ago I found a browser/flash roguelike while at work. I tried searching for it lately but can't find it. I do not remember the title (if it even had one). It was very simple, had graphics but no animations. The gameplay was very similar to what Pixel Dungeon is now; weapons, rings, etc. aren't identified until worn for a while or if a scroll of identify is used. All scrolls and potions likewise started off unidentified. You'd die a lot, like PD.
Theme was fantasy; it had wolves, orcs and minotaurs. Unlike PD I don't recall any bosses. All levels took place in dungeons and the look never really changed level to level. After a certain amount of levels going down you'd eventually escape the dungeon. Look was very gray, stone everything pretty much.
