A note on the review scores
« on: March 21, 2014, 03:14:57 AM »
Some of us reviewers have noticed the "fun" scores for our reviews have been altered to be equal to the "aesthetics" scores. Slash has confirmed that this is a bug in the display code for the review page, so don't be surprised if your review score goes up or down a bit in the next few days!

Not to rush the process -- is there an expected date when the reviewing will be completed?  My entry is available via Unity webplayer; I'd like to (at some point) update that version and 'archive' the 7DRL version as a standalone download.  I figured I should leave things as-is for the duration of the judging.

I'd guess at least 2 more weeks, since we seem to be about 1/3 through and it's a week out.

But really it is usually acceptable to provide links to both your 7drl release and then also additional patches. It'll be up to the individuals whether they want to stick only with the 7drl version, but many are willing to review a minor patch.

That might be problematic if your download link goes directly to the game, so I personally like to link to an info page that includes all the various download links and version history.

Mine is more of a large content push than a fix/patch release, so I think it would be more appropriate to wait.  Not really fair from a judging perspective.  I've still got a lot of work to do anyway, so I'm not really in a hurry.

Thanks for the ballpark estimate!
