Noxico can't be worse than Adom or Tome4. Maybe someone should try it?

Hey Labyrinth Lord  :P

I fix it by using control + and control - to shrink and expand the text.

Krice - If I remember correctly Peli was kind of neat but didn't have a ton of features.

One thing I liked about it was that your character started naked, with a little wiener poking out. Seriously.

It makes even more sense, because 'pippeli' is one of words for penis in finnish. I tried the game.. it's a turn-based random maze game, but a roguelike? Not really.

When I played Peli, it had a few nice touches (the pixel willy was indeed amusing) but zero depth and because the levels get exponentially larger each time and the power curve isn't really tuned at all the later levels get seriously dull.  Has it had any work done on it since the 7DRL?

Back on topic: it'll be interesting to see how Andrew deals with Noxico's possible cheating, since last year he got pretty upset about DarkGod simply soliciting votes from his own playerbase.

Paul I think it was more about Darkgod advertising in-game that made Andrew object.

By the way I voted for Forays into Norrendrin. It had only 17 votes when last checked. Maybe people haven't yet found it, but I'm sure they will.

I too voted for it. It's a solid game.

I voted Brogue, Infra Arcana, and Spelunky.  I've never played Norrendrin.  I'll have to give it a try.

22h to go and there is a suggestion of removing Noxico from competition altogether due to obvious multi-voting.

I don't think you can remove Noxico without removing ADOM and ToME, considering both just got 1000 votes in less than 12 hours, running neck and neck the whole way. Voting rates *decrease* towards the end of any poll that has already been sufficiently promoted to the player base before (as this one has), not increase by 30% in the last day. It's kind of silly.

ToME is now going up by 5-10 votes per minute, but it looks like the ADOM bot maybe gave up. Now I'm really curious how many votes these two would've gotten in a silent poll. I think there's a good chance ToME would still win due to its Steam presence and greater exposure overall, but ADOM did crowdfund this year and got the attention of a significant number of old and new players.

But the Noxico bot sure is picking up steam now! Giving the ToME bot a run for its money! I think this year we should have a new award category for "Fastest Voting Bot" ;)

Is it not set up as one vote submission per one IP address? Even then it can be doctored, but much less so.

I like the idea of being able to show support of multiple roguelikes in one vote, but if you can vote over and over again, it sort of makes your initial submission irrelevant doesn't it?

DONE

EDIT: Actually we already had a 'best overall' category, which will be the same.

Looks like Ascii Dreams blog itself has been hacked. Last two blog posts are quite random.. That Noxico developer is a piece of work.
