ABOUT THE GAME
In NeonXSZ (pronounced Neon Excesses) you are injected into cyberspace to stake your place in a war of virus verses machine. During your journey you will fly dozens of spaceships with hundreds of upgrades allowing you to create totally unique spacecraft with which to wage war. Will you protect the operating system or join the infection to bring it down?

INFLUENCES
NeonXSZ is our little homage to Descent combined with the frenetic adrenaline pumping feel and gameplay mechanics of Quake. Then add Diablo's loot explosions, rpg elements, levelling up, procedurally generated environments and enemies. Finish it all off with truly open-world gameplay inside a micro-ecosystem of up to one thouasand unique little AI dudes from four seperate warring factions and the result is a game quite unlike anything that has gone before.
   
Internal environments create constantly changing battlefields

        View your installed upgrades along with their stats at any time.

DOZENS OF FLYABLE SHIPS

Everything from super fast fighter class ships to tank-like Destroyers are available to loot and fly. If you see it, you can loot it, use it, or fly it.

Then upgrade them to create unique craft to suit your playstyle.
   
   OVER 700 UPGRADES
Every ship in the game has access to a near endless supply of upgrades creating both unique player flyable ships and constantly evolving opponents.

Kill enemies to loot their upgrades to increase the Technology Level and abilities of your own ships.
         
BUY AND SELL
The world of NeonXSZ is littered with docking ports offering services that allow the player to buy and sell upgrades, hulls and weapons.

Garages allow the player to overclock their upgrade slots for increased performance, or dock at a Quantum Teleporter to teleport to distant locations or set custom respawn points inside friendly space.

OPEN WORLD

Set within a huge procedurally generated totally open game world the player is free to fly wherever they want, whenever they want, writing the rules of their game as they go.

Each game load remixes the world and it’s enemies creating unique gameplay and challenges every time you play.
   
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

As many as one thousand AI ships populate the game world each with unique loadouts and AI.

AI ships are not confined to specific areas but instead travel throughout the gameworld on highways, battling at their borders and even penetrating deep into enemy space.

LEVEL UP AND UNLOCK NEW ARENAS

Kill, loot, or buy your way to higher Tech Levels to improve the power of your ships and unlock new arenas full of enemies with more powerful loot and increased artificial intelligence.

The game spans 80 Tech Levels of loot providing tens if not hundreds of hours of always evolving combat and gameplay.
   
PROCEDURALLY GENERATED

Everything from the game world, to the upgrades and even the enemy's artificial intelligence is procedurally generated to create emergent gameplay experiences that are never the same twice.

Your tales of victory or defeat will be unique to you and only you.

This has been in Closed Alpha for a good while, so there's a fair bit indeed already there.

All those Roguelike elements, with the possibilities there within in terms of 6DoF procedural generation adventuring---looking VERY sharp especially for a small indie outfit!   8)
