I'm also working on one. That brings the total to like 44, which I have to say is the largest programming competition I've heard about. The Day of Zeux in the MZX community has a fairly large competition, but still never 44 separate entries. Go roguelikes.

That was straining...

I'm more or less happy with the result of my game, even though I originally wanted to make it much bigger  :-\

Here is my entry for the 7DRL challenge Escape from Lab 42. You can grab the Win32 exe and FreeBasic sources from my skydrive:

It would have been nice to have some more time to test, but that is what this challenge is all about. I have included a readme in the zip file that gives a quick explanation of the game. You probably don't need it since the game is very simple.

I *think* everything is working, which just means I didn't have time to find all the bugs. :)

I've tried to keep this post updated release information and so on.  17 successes reported so far!  Waiting to hear on another 24...  We'll likely have more successes this year than we've had entrants in any previous year!

I never had the time to finish mine unfortunately, but hopefully I'll complete as a normal RL some day.

Last minute success? Kindof, I released a version of my 7DRL that you can win. The thing is, it's totally incomplete. Never the less, you can win it and it has enemies. So, I finished!

Sorry deej, must have gotten 2 titles mixed up.  Means there was actually 45 entrants!  Updated the listing (which I suppose I'll port to RogueBasin shortly).  24 winners, 9 losers, and still awaiting to hear from 12.  This year really has been an astoundingly successful competition  :)
