I would like to request someone to make this game:
Meeple Wrangler -
A side view physics type game. Think Lemmings and Dig Dug.
The goal is to just build a little colony of Meeples, living and breathing. Sandbox.
The player has no avatar. The mouse pointer becomes whatever tool you select. Click to use the tool or place an object.
The terrain will have dirt to dig with the shovel tool, gold veins to shovel and gain golds, water falls, lava streams, steam vents, steam creation when lava + water meets, etc....
Use water wheels and drive shafts to power, well, stuff that does things...[elevators? pumps? Tesla Coils that shoot bad guys?]
Build mushroom gardens by flooding underground chambers.
Your score is how many Meeples you have.
Meeples do not work or do anything but affect score. 100 meeples for the win.
Meeples do the following things, in order, if they can.
1. Seek food and eat
2. Seek a private place to sleep if they've eaten. Stop, play and bounce around if they meet another meeple, this takes up time...
3. Sleep if they find a private unoccupied bedroom in time (bed with no other beds or meeples around)
3b. If they don't find a place to sleep in time, then go back to 1 - EAT.
4. Divide, or give birth to another meeple, if they sleep successfully without being disturbed.
So basically their procreation process requires food, lots of space so they don't meet other meeples or be disturbed while sleeping, and of course lots of bedroom type spaces.
It's like having an ant farm, but you build the environment for them.
And of course there will be dangers. Creeples and such.
