The original never ended up making it beyond the PSP ecosystem, but now the heavily souped-up sequel has arrived on PC out from nowhere!

It's not actually very JRPG-ish at all, IMO.  I'm just shocked that NIS released something on Steam...

Any word on whether the Steam version has anything new?

Thus far it doesn't appear to be word about there being any new features per se, just "good PC port" things like full-screen and windowed, a FPS counter, etc.

The Wiki oriented folks will probably start digging around in short order to see what's what unless some official announcements crop up.
