It was okay, I liked the story and got around to completing it.
But in the end I was running on fumes and pretty sick of the thing.
It got pretty boring and had some questionable design choices.
For example, the game is built around that really static character design process
I must have recreated the same "winning" character at least 3-4 times almost exactly with minor tweaks before I won
And in the process I realized how dull this made things, because to top that off the dungeons are pretty bare with few interactions
So each time I played it, I was just going through the motions and the dungeon itself (especially with auto-explore) never felt like it mattered much
I could have tried playing around with the classes more but then there is the problem of relearning the aspects of each and how to play them effectively
That's the problem with classes in roguelikes in general, you are better just working with one to understand it if you ever plan on getting very far
You could say that it is more fun to try your luck, but when the game is designed around long-term planning it's not playing correctly
