Why Early Access?
“We believe that early feedback is key to making a truly great game. Players can try out recent builds of the game, let us know what they love or hate, and steer development. What we made in 9 months is already fun, but we've set out to do an action adventure game of AAA scope, and to get to that point, you, the player is key.
We're always open to your feedback. It will guide us as we explore what features and mechanics work best.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
“Planning on release in 2016, but we will take as long as it takes to flesh out, polish and deliver the best experience and gameplay. We're staying in Early Access up until pre-release, long past alpha and beta.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
“We’re making a BIG adventure game, so here’s a few things planned for a finished game:

Beautiful environments to explore, set in AI-dominated world
Crazy and fun new mechanics to keep players interested:
MegaSphere is not only platforming, guns and robots, but also zero-g navigation, AI hacking, ability to control mechs and ships…
Mind-blowing, deep plot with twists and turns
Professionally narrated logs and notes to discover, store and read/listen to
New enemies and bosses to tear servo-from-servo
More stuff: guns, enemies, bosses, upgrades, suit modifications..
>Your suggestion here

What is the current state of the Early Access version?
“MegaSphere is already 10 months into development, there’s a lot of fun to be had already:

Unlimited replayability in a randomized level that challenges you every time you restart
7 awesome weapons, 5 upgrades, each having 3 tiers leading to more than a hundred combinations
10 enemies out of 4 basic types, with up to 4 variations
Dynamic soundtrack that changes and adapts to events on screen
Item shops to buy ultimate doom-bringers and sell your loot
A short arc of the main story that involves the events of the bigger game
A very special mini-boss that will give you the taste of what to expect in the final game!

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
“MegaSphere will rise in price at launch.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
“Development was always open and transparent, and we're keeping it that way. Join live art streams on Twitch, watch out for polls on Twitter, forums and Reddit. Suggest new features, changes to existing ones, and be vocal of things you enjoy or hate. We want you, the player, to be at the center of the development. Have a need to freeze grabbers with a gun that shoots canisters of liquid nitrogen? Want to challenge your aim and platforming skills in a separate massive arena level? Timed challenges? Leaderboards? Think multiplayer will be fun? Custom level editor with Workshop support? We’re all ears!

Very strong sense of style to this one---all signs point to bright neon future ahead.   8)

It`s also on itch.io, thankfully: http://antonkudin.itch.io/megasphere

The quality of this release is simply mindblowing. Gfx/sound/gameplay are all 10/10. Even if you don`t dig action games it`s worth downloading the demo just to see some of the best 2D art ever.
