So as a citizen of a non-NATO nation bordering Russia, you must be excited by the prospect to make good on your criticism of the West and the United States in particular and join the New Russian Empire.

If we manage to stay out from generating strong military alliances that could escalate the war we as human race will turn the next page in our history. Alliances were often the reason for long and difficult wars such as world wars. But it was known long before that. When spartans and athenians fought the Peloponnesian war it was done mostly between their allies. If it would have been directly and only between spartans and athenians the war would have lasted possibly couple of months compared to 27 years.

Hitler could be easily stopped while he was still very weak. But people did not want war, so they did not try to stop him.

You refer to Iraq and Saddam Hussein? He was a bad leader, but even then there was no reason for USA to attack Iraq. If everyone does that then there will be nothing but wars. And it seems Iraq needed a strong leader and government, because the struggle between islamic sects. Americans never think what are the consequences of their war games.
