A new patch has been released for Rogue Shooter which makes several changes including resolution options, music fixes, and a new weapon.Additions A new weapon has been added:The W.O.M.P. The Weaponized Omni-Matter Projector can be reloaded by feeding excess Science Items into it. It has four different modes of fire depending on which Science Item you reload it with. If you want to try out this weapon, the Scientist class now starts with it. Inside every Safe Room will now be an Upgrade Drill. You can pay five tools to give +1 damage to your weapons. There are higher resolution options available now in the options menu. COSSACK MODE! Enabling this mode in the options will cause your kicks to alternate legs. There is now a slider for adjusting the sound volume. Bug Fixes The music should loop properly now. You should now be able to move the game window around without causing the camera to spin uncontrollably. Katanas can now be repaired. The Dog Launcher and Quicksand Gun can no longer be fired while cloaked. Sorry. The tombstones are no longer blank when you are killed by a boss. Balance Changes Gladiator Perk now causes melee attacks to ALWAYS critical hit. As fun as it is to chop or kick someone, it still felt like brining a boot to a gunfight. Hopefully with this perk selected it should make melee somewhat more viable. Shotguns have been buffed. The shotguns felt a little weaker than I liked so the damage for Double Barrel, Pump and Auto shotguns has been increased. There are no changes to the Shotgun Trident because you can't improve on perfection. Rocket Launchers and Grenade Launchers have been buffed as well. The Minigun has a slight decrease on damage. It's still pretty OP though. The Phasing Device now teleports you to a random location on the map. The old Phasing Device didn't end up being very useful. This should make it better as an escape device. The Gadget Box is now half as effective as the Tool Bench at repairing weapons and armor. The Gadget box was a little too powerful and it made taking the Grease Monkey Background a no brainer. To make up for this though, armor will now break less often. Minor Changes The Dog Launcher and Quicksand Gun now decrease in durability. This makes it easier to tell when they are used up. Hitting Escape will close your menu in game. Changed the description of the Venus Human Trap to reflect the fact that the goo hurts you. The elevator noise between floors has been toned down. It shouldn't blow out your speakers any more.
