Here is another 7DRL 2013 entry. A side scrolling, but turn based, platformer. It's from Steed, the guy who made Red Rogue. Seems he's a side scrolling wiz!

GAMEPLAY:
Very simple. Use various jumps and bumps to get the diamonds hidden in the rocks. Bump the rocks to cause a chain reaction up. This can cause good things, like getting diamonds, but also bad things like spikes falling.

Classically, you can't seem to scroll the screen backward. So strategy depends on recognizing impossible situations and avoiding them early, since backtracking is limited.

This is a timed high score game, meaning you compete for high score in the amount of time allotted. Time, 400 moves, is tracked by a timer onscreen. I don't know if there is a way to beat the game, or if the game is infinite. I'm also not sure if you can get extended time or what. So far it's just been high score.

There may be some spots that are impossible to traverse. I encountered several and had to reset the game. But here's a hint, you can walk through spikes, just not fall on them, this is key to traversing many seemingly impossible areas.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
If you liked Fuel or maybe Zaga-33 from last year give this one a try. Turn based platform games are rare, and even more rare is that this one simulates gravity.
