Quote
After much delay (real life can be a pain), i have released Demonhunt RL V2.0 today!

This one of the most major updates to Demonhunt to date, including:

    -Over 40 new spells/abilities!
    -Enhanced skill selection/levelling system
    -Improved pathfinding/AI
-Major balance changes for increased challenge
-Special levels support (only one so far, but expect many special levels to be added in future versions)
-Healing spells abolished - They were considered to be game breaking
-Mana regeneration (mostly) abolished - can still recharge rapidly once per level using the "recharge" ability as spellsword
-Dig through the rock using the "Tunnel" command - press 'T' to tunnel.

More details here: http://www.demonhunt.org/demonhuntplan.html

Something of a Roadmap/latest dev progress here:  https://www.pivotaltracker.com/projects/178205

Between this, Rogue Survivor, LambdaRogue, and others I LOVE projects coming back to life, or back into publicly released life, as well as seeing 7DRLs evolve into eccentric monstrosities in their own right.   8)

This one looks interesting.
What I enjoy the most in roguelikes: Anti-Farming and Mac Givering my way out. Kind of what I also enjoy in life.

I see release date from slightly over a year ago. Perhaps you were confused by erroneous RogueBasin announcement? I fixed that over here but it seems not before the error crept out and spread like a disease. Still, maybe not a bad thing since it is a fine game. A year ago when this news item was still fresh I tried to stir up some interest but without much success.

Fobbah has resumed working on the project, I've been beta testing the new in-dev version and a lot of annoying quirks were fixed :) Also has some new content, but mostly fixes & UI improvements.

I also thought it might've been an error at first, but the dating scheme of the devlog thing on that tracker led me to reckon that there might've just been some error in the date keeping of his newspage/blog apparatus.

Expect a real update some time next week!

I hope it provides fullscreen. That little window it pops up in is just too much of a strain on my eyes to really play it and get into it.
