Hi,
I'm one of two people developing a roguelike called HordeTheory. It has puzzlish, deterministic gameplay based on fighting large hordes of enemies. Our current beta release is fully playable up to around level 30, but the level generation will start to break down after that.
Here's a list of the current features:
- Nine spells to learn.
- Six types of enemy.
- Keyboard and mouse interface.
- Special unique levels.
- The ability to create "custom dungeons", with your own special level designs and difficulty settings.
- The level map is ASCII based, but we use graphical icons in some places.
- A talking parrot companion.

forum. It's probably too early for a forum to really get going, but we thought we might as well set it up now.
The next version should be out shortly, but we'd like to get some feedback on the balance first.
EDIT: One thing I forgot to mention is that in the current version opening the Dungeon Features help causes a crash. You can recover from this by clicking ignore repeatedly whilst holding down a key that closes the help, such as escape. Sorry about this, it's fixed for the next release.
Thanks, Autoquark
