I'll look more closely at itch.io when I get home from work, tonight. $3.00 doesn't seem like much to host the game, but I was hoping for some place free, as I'm giving many years of work away for free.
Where are you getting $3 from? itch.io is totally free. Even if you sell your game through them, it's voluntary whether you want to pay a % to them.
