Weekly roguelike challenge on Reddit
« on: August 13, 2013, 09:37:58 AM »
I've started a new weekly feature on /r/roguelikes:

http://www.reddit.com/r/roguelikes/comments/1jzfn3/roguelike_game_challenge_week_1_ending/

Every week there'll be a new challenge featuring a different game. This week it's Ending - challenge is to beat it in gauntlet mode with as low a score as possible (low score is better). The whole point is to introduce people to roguelikes they haven't played before, so we'll keep featuring more obscure games in future.

Well, I won the first challenge :-/ I'll try and do worse on the next weekly challenge: Hydra Slayer.

Do take part, it's rather fun :)

I like challenges
I like roguelikes
I like competing against people

That said, I can't join the weekly challenge right now. But I will in the future. Just thought that the headmaster of this weekly delight would like to know that there is someone watching.

Well we did hack121 last and it didn't prove too popular. So this time we're going to cover Jeff Lait's Smart Kobold:
