Tom Proudfoot

The author of Nahlakh and Natuk. He has forums and only now I learned he had been developing a roguelike Tower Of Darkness with test release version from year 2000. Talk about off the radar. No one knew that and it looks like Proudfoot is not actively developing games these days. He was and is not very talkative person, he has written only 51 messages in his own forum, most of them announcements.

I tried TOD and it certainly doesn't look an average 7DRL. It has a lot more stuff, but I only tried once and died in first battle..

Between 1992 and 1996 he was actively involved in several NetHack variants that eventually lead to Slash'Em.
