I've published new version of tileset for TomeNET:
 
Version 1.4 - Redraw of all floor tiles & updated other monsters/objects. Also we got 2 additional tiles cause of staircase duplication. Now we got new Tier '0' for dangerous middle-lvl demons and... surprise in Bree Aaaand fixed a bug - now staircases displayed correctly at the map (shift+m).

Currently I'm making 1bit (monochrome) tileset for TomeNET. I've learn some trickes and wanna to share it For example, you would find a LIFEHACK - how to generate loads of art from just one texture %)

1) alsmost finished all terrain objects (wanna redraw water and polish some other stuff).
2) would start monsters very soon %)
3) there are loads of .ttf files with 1 bit fantazy art in internet.. You could just open such file with Fony, resize and copy whatever you like to your .FON file Now I know how Lightman 'draw' his monsters, I suppose I would make a guide about it in my today's stream! Time to reveal secret technology  :mrgreen:

Yep, I'm too waiting for roadmap for centuries even wrote about it at forum http://www.tomenet.eu/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=708&p=2007&hilit=roadmap#p2007

I suppose devs got their 'closed' system where they work at the game. Maybe it would be open one day

Anyway - devs online everyday and anyone could ask them something or give an advice/suggestion (/rfe command). I didn't see so much joint work with community in other games.. A lot of stuff which players suggested was implemented in last update (I suppose even ~30% of my personal suggesions was approved and its _a lot_). So I like devs work and their communication with a players is very unique and positive.

I didn't play Portralis yet and much more roguelikes awaits... But thanks for information, would check it up %)

Very interesting discussion, guys From my point of view - there aren't online games (=MMORPGs) which got even a half of richness of gameplay as TomeNET has right now. And its not the end. Devs got a lot of plans - quest system, for example. Its almost ready btw, be in touch for updates... %)

So its surely very unique and interesting project.. Its extreamely hard game - thats why its not so popular as it has to be... But in time everything would change, I'm sure!

Welcome to 4.7.0 Actually its biggest update for several last years!

Rebalance, new gameplay features, new display options, a lot of UI improvements... fixed all kind of errors and bugs. New shadow magic and.. spirit occult magic! Wanna try to be shadow rogue and be able to teleport behind enemies and use powerful dark magic to curse and demolish your enemies to dust? Or maybe shadow priest? What about occult shaman? A lot of new stuff

Also there are rumours about new class - Dark Knight... %) Game developing going day and night! Check it out!
