You have to install it.  You can install it to a USB flash drive that is at least 2gb large.

Cheers,

Rogue Class is a toy Linux distribution for playing games and reading books.  Rogue Class Linux supports joystick controls in most of the programs.  RCL favors turn-based games, such as puzzles and rogue-like games.

Version 6 features USB 3 boot support, the sfrotz interpreter for z-machine adventure games, pubcast (a podcast variant for ebooks), PyGame, and features to help create and share games with other users.  The joystick controls have been re-arranged for consistency.  The larger games have been moved to an optional 2nd install disc.  New games include Chess, Fujo, Magus, Murder at the Diogenes Club, Tome 4, and zRogue.

When I first played Moria, the scrolling dungeon was nice.  It felt as though I could get lost.  Variety is a good thing.

Traditional Roguelikes (Turn Based) / Rogue Class Linux 5

Rogue Class is a toy Linux distribution for playing games and reading books. Rogue Class Linux has a streamlined installer and it supports joystick controls in most of the programs. RCL favors turn-based games, such as puzzles and rogue-like games.

Version 5 features improved USB boot support, SuperNES cartridge support via Retrode2 and zsnes, virtual mouse to use a joystick instead of a mouse, improved Unicode support in the EPUB reader, improved stability in the web browser, and 4 new games: Dungeons of the Necromancer's Domain, HyperRogue, NetHack, and Ragnarok.  To download RCL, visit http://rogueclass.org/

Goals for the next version include: Make joystick controls more consistent; Make it easier to write applications within RCL; and, of course, add more games.
