Traditional Roguelikes (Turn Based) / Through 1.0

Stumbled upon this browsing reddit.

Through is a Roguelike: a turn-based single-player RPG with randomly generated dungeons. My goal for this project was to create a polished, 2D roguelike inspired primarily by Shiren the Wanderer and Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup. Attempt to get through the dungeon alive. It's not easy.

Other Announcements / Anyone have any young kids (or know any) that play roguelikes?

After downloading the latest DoomRL, my son (just turned 11) seen me playing it.  He thought it was pretty cool and now it's on his computer.  He's also being playing Dwarf Fortress too, since I gave him my old PC.  This was about 6-8 months ago.  He has even given Stone Soup a few runs.

My 6 year old is having a blast with Spelunky.  I know it's not a true roguelike, but it's close enough for me.

Any one else?  I know my kids can't be the only ones.

Has anyone played/seen/heard of this?  I stumbled upon this today and thought it looked interesting.  It looks like they tried to port a roguelike to a console.  Not like Diablo either.

If anyone has played this, what's it like?  I think I'm going to order this.  It's priced under $30.
