7DRLs / [7DRL 2021] [Success] A 7DRL about alternate timelines.

When you are about to die, a new timeline is added to the stack. When you solve a timeline, you pop it from the stack and continue the previous one, but with your latest character stats and inventory. For balancing, the maximum size of the stack should be limited, and game over occurs when dying with the stack full.

Oh also your character is a Magical Girl.

It be 6pm-ish PST on Sunday, March 4th 2018 and I'm starting on my 7DRL!

  • Initial design goals include bold movement options covering multiple tiles in one turn combined with attacks.
  • Aim this time is to work on the nebulous *fun* category.
  • After 6 years I'm ditching Unity and switching to LÖVE.

Synopsis: A coffee break roguelike where you can see and potentially manipulate future and past dice rolls.

Status: Completed!

The base game is meh, but combine it with the Endurance DLC and it becomes much more interesting, capturing some of that roguelike feel.

* Hunger clock.
* 2nd Hunger clock in the form of Warmth.
* Map with locations of tombs, supplies, enemies, etc randomized each time you play.
* Permadeath.
