Huh, WarpRogue? I'd tried it before, and despite it being set in the WH40k universe, it didn't really catch my attention all that much. I'll try Gearhead again, though.

I've gotten a bit tired of the traditional Tolkien-esque fantasy, so what are some good roguelikes of other genres? Not excluding fantasy in general, but at least having a really unique setting.

I have pretty much nothing to contribute, sadly. It seems like all the ones I've seen have been either shareware, defunct, or just plain bad (in my opinion).

Heya folks.

I'm Chris Nestaamo of the great windy city of Chicago. I enjoy Dwarf Fortress and Incursion, mostly because their complexity awes me, although I've gotten hooked on Slash'EM, Dungeon Crawl, and ADOM for a little while.

I'm currently working on learning a programming language (Python, if it works out all right) so I can start working on a roguelike version of the greatest tabletop RPG I know, Fates Worse Than Death.
