Our game Orbiz was on Square Enix Collective too. The "Yes" votes are enough, but maybe the comments or feedbacks aren't, so they didn't make a crowdfunding campaign.

Good luck with the port and the future update  ;D

The mechanic is simple and I really like it, maybe you can port this game on mobile also because it's only need 4 arrow keys input right ? And you just replace those arrow keys with swipes.

I'm glad you like it, I do plan to eventually port to tablet and possibly mobile (the UI is designed with this in mind) though actually I think the movement controls might be one of the harder things to port effectively, as there is also a 'strafe' function currently accessible by holding the shift key. I'm hoping some combination of tap and swipe will do the trick.

Hi Gornova, thank you so much for the feedback !

In my opinion, because the zombies is easy to stuck and easy to kill too, so I made it massively. You can also play using keyboard + mouse if you're playing alone / single mode (or just one contonller) but if you want to play local coop mode (2-4 player) with your friends in a couch, a more than one controller is required. Right now It's only support xbox controller, but we will also add playstation controller support in the future. And also adding online coop mode.

really nice arcade game, I like it!

For me a big problem is enemy pathfinding: many times enemies get stuck and kill them is really easy! And you should find a way to get clear space around spawner, because mass-zombies are there sometimes

btw, for PC build, don't say you require Xbox controller for playing because keyboard + mouse is fine

Hi guys, we're from Anoman Studio and now we're working on Orbiz. Orbiz is a top-down shooter game with rogue-like elements, designed for both singleplayer and local multiplayer. The primary objective of the game is to engage in three levels of combat with various zombies on each spherical world before locating the portal to travel to the next one.



There are four different character that player can play as, from four different members of the UFO Hunters team: Ash, Ray, Leo, or Max. Orbiz is available in both singleplayer or local co-op, using the keyboard or a gamepad. You can either run from or kill the zombies, but you must destroy them at the source, spawners dotted throughout the landscape, to open the portal to the next world.





You guys can try the alpha demo version contains about five minutes of gameplay. A gamepad (XBOX) or keyboard and mouse can be used to play the game according to your preference. The demo is available for Windows and Mac OSX on Gamejolt, itch.io and IndieDB. Be on the lookout for a Linux version.





We will keep updating our alpha demo, and we thinking about :
  • Character ability
  • Get Items Narator Feedback like Metal Slug (like when our character grab a weapon and sound "HEAVY MACHINEGUN !")
  • Some power Ups like Nuclear Throne (but we'll show the items after beating a boss)
