Hey everyone,
I'm trying to decide whether thin or thick lines, and whether plain or bold text look better for my interface. Would you mind looking at these four screen shots and telling me which look you think is best? I'm only wondering about the text on the right and the bottom, and the white borders around it.

I like the last : plain text and thin lines.
BTW: theme looks interesting, I imagine some nice urban fantasy from it. Dark streets, necromancers, mages and other suspicious elements in the night and member of the city guard has a hard time in it.
Never mind.

Poor Rayna. Is that any way to treat a lady?
I like the last one.
-
I like the 4th one the best.

So it seems like thin lines and plain text are the most popular combination. Does everyone agree that I should go with that, or is there anyone who prefers one of the others?

If you want to use pure white text I suggest you make both panels not black but dark grey or dark something. Then you don't need a border or it could also be darker.

Yeah, that might be a good idea. I'm not married to the white-on-black color scheme yet, so I'm open to suggestions.

Am I too late to vote? :)
I like thick and bold. I have vision problems.

My pick would be number 3, thin lines and bold text.

I honestly don't have a preference on the borders, but I definitely vote for the thin text; IMHO, it looks a lot better. :)

+1 for the thin text.
