You can find a lot of people playing frogcompos in Angband forums (the game developer himself included). Search for "angband forums" (I'm not allowed to post external links).

There you will find tips and experiences from other players. Frogcomposband is currently one of the most active *bands in the community.

Another option is the "angband.live" chat (search for "angband live"). There are very experienced players 24hours there, chatting about their ongoing runs, and very opened to sharing their knowledge with new players.

That said, "frogcomposband" is a wonderful game. One of my favorite bands.

What exactly is FrogComposBand? I figure its an Angband vaierty but the name seems so odd.
