There it is!  I bookmarked this a long time ago because I wanted to try it out.  And then I must have deleted the bookmark or something.  I could never remember the name of it.  I'll make sure I check this out sometime.  *bookmarks*

So what is this game actually like?

The screens and onsite descriptions make me think it to be something akin to an Ultima'ish Roguelike CRPG Hybrid dealie.

Yeah, I just happened to check a bookmark as it'd been awhile and lucked out to find a new release.

haxima has always been interesting but a complete turnoff to me as they force lisp underneath. I guess it works ok but its not a choice I would have made

I wanted to give it a try - looks right up my alley. Unfortunately, it crashes as soon as I try to run it. Pity. Anyone else having some weird dll issue?

Yea, I have it too. It says I am missing libpng12.dll

No idea how to fix it.

You can probably google it and download it. Then just put in the game's folder.
