I have been using WinXP for quite a while, great OS. Recently switched to Linux Mint.. really excellent stuff, just takes a bit to get used to a different way of doing things but so far seems perfect. Only small flaw certain games aren't available (e.g. Triangle Wizard, or many games on Steam), however there's this Windows emulator called Wine which appears to make everything possible (haven' tried it yet though).

I've been using Linux for most of my life, sticking with Debian since about ten years back.
It's true that Wine can handle a lot of Windows-applications (including Triangle Wizard, last I checked). But it can sometimes be a hassle to install libraries and components (there's an application called winetricks for this). And there's also the occational game that won't even run in Wine, such as The Ground Gives Way.
Have fun.

Windows 10 for programming (Visual C++) and OSX for music. I would use OSX for programming as well, but it's ridiculous how difficult it is. Must be something like that in linux as well I guess.

At home I use win 10. The computer department's servers at my school run linux, so that's primarily what I use when programming.

I have been using IOS for quite a while (almost 6 years), great OS!

i have been using the windows operative system all my life, i have always found it easy to work with..
is there any other operative system as close, i would want to try something different for a change.
i always have issues with security and malware.

I'm using Windows 10 on my laptop and android 8.1 on my Samsung s7, unfortunately, today we don't have 1 good and comfortable platform for PCs and smartphones

I've been using Windows for my entire life - I've had to use Macs occasionally in the past, and I've had some minimal exposure to Linux, but I don't find Macs easy to use at all, and Linux seems a bit too heavily dependent on the command line - it's great for certain tasks, but I certainly don't enjoy using it any more than I have to.

Maybe try and see if you like one of the "user friendly" Linux distros, like Ubuntu (https://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=ubuntu) or Mint (https://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=mint).
