INTRODUCTION OF OMEGA(not made by me)

Today I will play Omega and I will see if it's possible to win this game.
If you have got any tips tell me I will really appreciate that

I very like this idea. Omega is a bit underrated/'underfamed', so good to see that someone is going to beat this game. I've never played a lot of Omega, so I don't have a lot of advices/tips but probably I will play and try to win :)

Actually this will be hard! And the worst thing is that saves aren't working so this will be even harder.

I remember that probably best actions for start is:
a) joing guild (XP is count in guilds, so this should be you first move)
b) earning money (and XP) on arena (likely without joining gladiators guild)
c) making promotions in guild
On arena, after fight, you have to get box from corpse and 'A'ctivate this.
Which version of Omega you have? From what site? Saves works for me.

Oh I didn't notice that in the launcher is a save file :(
And also in the arena I can't kill tove he is just too strong.
And I don't know how to make promotions and quests in the legion guild

Restoring game can be tricky. You have to run terminal, navigate to omega folder, and type omega.exe name_of_save.sav (is possible that you must to rename file to name.sav).
If you on windows, to make restoring games more easy, you can make shortcut to terminal (%windir%\system32\cmd.exe /k on upper adress, %curdir%\ to bottom) in your omega folder.

And yes, tove can be too strong, but after killing goblin you should have enough XP to have next character level. There is no need to fight next fights - after joining mercenary guild and fighting on arena you should have enoung $ to survive (food, services) or making research in library.
Btw, not every location are marked on 'M'ap (ok, this is not map, rather fast-travel system ;) ) at start - you have to discover some locations (like library, gym) yourself.

If it's close to Rampart I think this is Goblin Cave. First few levels should be good to begin. Anyway, you should try and check this yourself ;)

I became a worshipper of Set and text said that I've gained magic abilities but how can I check my magic?

Pressing 'm' should show known spells. If you don't know any... I never worshipped Set so I don't know which abilities you gained. Maybe mana boost? If you want to use magic a lot, join the Sorcerors Guild - mana not regenerate naturally and you can recharge mana points in guildhouse.

I learned invisibility but then I died becouse ghost scared me and I couldn't attack enemies.

Yup, there is hard game :D I died now because mamba... Mamba was to strong, just that :D

Ghost again, ghost are COMPLETELY overpowered here's why
1.They make you scared
2.they are too fast
3.they deal damage even if you don't see them
4.they are everywhere!!!

That one near city but i created a chracter who belives in ghosts and suprisingly there are no ghosts anymore.

You forgot two gods - Odin and Athena.
Omega altar is for Lords of Destiny.
I remember that handling with gods is difficult (or... tiring). For example, is easy to be killed by Odin, if we doing chaotic acts. So, I usually choose Lords of Destiny - this is safest decision, but for sake, I don't remember what's about benefits :D

The problem about Odin and Athena is that I don't like them And I want to play evil character.
Set and Hecate are evil gods so it will be safer to worship them
If I will choose Set I will proroably get his reputation by killing things becouse in the Egyptian culture Set is god of war,chaos,storms and desert.
If I will choose Hecate I will get her reputation by joining sorceror guild, gaining spells, casting and killing with them
If I will choose Omega then proroably this will be completely random- One time I will get my ass kicked, One time I will get something usefull or something like that
So I don't know which god I will choose.

And also in the sorceror guild they say that I am reek of law
What can I do to change my "alignment"?

Lords seems to be rather more passive and subtle than random, but - maybe you're right.
Department of Public Works can help you when you are enough poor :P
If you want to change alignment to more lawful, just go to hospice and make donations. Simpliest way. If you want to be chaos servant, you have to make bad things - bank/castle/house robbery, etc.

I lifted the portcullis and escaped from prison!!! I was in the prison becouse I went to castle and I didn't accept duke's mission I don't know how did I do this.

It's simple be prisoned, recently I did something wrong in Public Wokrs and I was jailed.

I'm making great progress ;D
When I was walking on the world map I was caught in the chaos storm which increased my level Greatly.
From that XP I was promoted in the mercenary guild as centurion and I got payed a LOT of money and from that money I have joined sorcerors guild and buyed a katana

For now, I'm stuck and I have problems with playing further. In version 0.90.4 which I'm playing, seems that Goblin Cave is not so close to Rampart, and - for inexperienced player character - other dungeons (or even ambushes) are very deadly.

You can always change to my version which is 0.80.2.

Of course I know that I can switch to 0.80.2... But classic ASCII version is out of colors. And I don't like tiles (especially if they are so big as in Omega) ;)

So far, I haven't found much to do other than grinding the first few levels of Rampart sewer and Goblin Cave, but it's very slow to accumulate gold and exp this way.
Brigand and ninja are dangerous. I only managed to kill one brigand when he spawned right next me and didn't use his crossbow. Ninja is invisible, fast, and difficult to hit.
You can kite tove if you're faster than normal. One can join the Order for the horse and then rob the bank to become chaotic.
It seems that one can get many exp by pouring salt water on trifid in the garden of Woodmere, but I'm not sure if Archdruid would have problem with that.

Open account and make deposit. Then, you have to try withdraw $, but you must enter wrong password. New message appears (about hitting space key). ...hit any key, but not space
