Great! I had good feelings about Stygian Abyss. But... I have a question. Is possible to make a standalone/offline release of SA? I hate when internet connection is needed to playing...

+reports.
1) SA doesn't work on Opera - after picking a fate game screen is gray and dungeon isn't diplayed (only welcoming messages).
2) On Maxthone browser and Mozilla Firefox doesn't work turning around with mouse (but maybe source of problem is that I use touchpad, not mouse)

[maybe it may be worth make turning around with 'q' and 'e' keys, then interact with 'e' binds to 'space'? But this is only a loose suggestion, of course]

Sure, I can make a google chrome offline app or something like that? you can always download the source and play it locally, although the index file currently uses php for cache control.

I'll add checking the Opera/Firefox issue, and the q/e keys

Offline app sounds good. I'm not familiar with HTML5 and I don't know anything about his possibilities, but I think that make a offline app indenpendent of the browser will be best, but each version to play locally make me satisfied ;)

I thought about play from sources, but I should have installed php, local server, etc., shouldn't I?

I use Firefox and a touchpad and the freelook works fine (well, it`s of course much worse than using mouse but playable still). I need to click on the game screen first and then browser asks me if I want to "hide the mouse pointer" on this particular site. Confirm and it goes into freelook mode. I`m using the latest version so maybe try updating or fiddle with the options?

Second the standalone offline version request - not tied too particular browser, if possible.

Yup, when I tried on Chrome all working nice. Firefox... After a few attemps I can tell that sometimes 'hide mouse request' is not displayed. On Maxthon and Opera (yes, I know, there is not very popular browsers) never works.

Everything what I wanted, yay! I'm very glad that I can play SA with keyboard input only, it's very comfortable :)

Cute little crawler. Definitely nice to see some old school ultima tiles again. I was about to ask how do I drop items, but a flash of inspiration came to me while typing and I tried the 'T' key and that does it.

I'm on level 2 right now... the journey can now continue.

Just wait for standalone, offline version now... :) I tried to play locally from sources using easyphp, but I don't manage to make it :F

After all - congrats, one of best games of 7DRL2015!
