Title: Hebrac's Dungeon [7DRL 2015]
Post by: Chasma on March 08, 2015, 09:09:49 AM
Inspired by Bolg-Phuru (a friend IRL, that tried Hebrac in 2014 7DRL), I want to restart this project! This game is inspired by the homonymous card game: you are an adventurer in a dungeon, owned by Hebrac, a powerful magician. I want to add some features to the vanilla card game :) I will update the information here!

EDIT: I started today at 12 am UTC. I will change my nickname: I restored one old email, that I used when I was a immortal in a MUD. My new name is Thjalfa :)

The (vanilla) general structure and the loot system are ready. I hope for tomorror to finish the combat system and the GUI, so it will be playable. Next the magic and other fun things.

The combat system is OK; now I need only a GUI (tomorrow) and the magic system.

Here (http://github.com/Thjalfa/hebrac2015) you will find all the releases. At the moment, I have uploaded a somewhat playable version... without map/hud/magic.

Now it's playable! The map/inventory is on screen and all the vanilla mechanics, but the futureperception spell, are implemented. Tomorrow I hope to code this last spell and to refine the code, and starting "my version" of the game.

"Finished", but not really satisfied. For me it is a success, it was fun and I learned something more.
