Title: The Ground Gives Way (Indie Spotlight #5)
Post by: Dewaldo on July 24, 2014, 01:32:22 AM
I haven't really seen a gameplay/feedback thread for this game so I thought I'd start one.

The Ground Gives Way looks like a really promising new-comer with a nice UI, easy to learn gameplay and control scheme and play-style that focuses on development through item acquisition rather than levelling (see: grinding) or classes (see: restricting gameplay options). Overall, I'm excited to see where this one goes.

I did a little review video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qES5PG8dPrk) for my Indie Spotlight series, let me know what you guys think of the game and give me some suggestions on other newly developed games I could look into. Thanks again to getter77 for the recommendation!

You'd also probably do really well to weigh in on the latest Dev blog update over on The Ground Gives Way's official site from earlier today---the dev's looking for user requests and ideas to make it all so much the better still.

I will cheat on the further recommendations for now by just suggesting you head to the Announcements board and flash back to your most recent bout of Kid In A Candy Store.   8)

Or just dig into The Temple of Torment as the betas continue to shape up, whatever works.
