anyone know of any roguelike IRC channels? are there any anymore? if not perhaps we need one.

What if we create one (i.e. #roguetemple) at freenode, for instance? That way we have a "general roguelike" IRC channel.

we could have one at FEFnet, then again thats just the server im always on :P

I think FreeNode is much more accesible :)

Yes, this must be set up... I wonder how many people would be hanging there (another ghost IRC channel would be bad)

I very rarely go to IRC, but when I ever get to be more active on developing RL related stuff (say, Summer), I'd probably be there a few hours every now and then. It'd be much more enjoyable (annoying) to talk to (un)successful devs (noobs).

im wonderin too. aparently theres a #roguelike on quakenet. i didnt check to see if its active or not. theres a couple finnish ones as well.

either way im on fefnet #subgenius most of the time if anyones ever on irc and is bored.

There's SUPPOSED to be a #rgrd channel somewhere...not sure if anyone goes there.

I'm starting one on fefnet right now, since nobody seems interested in doin it somewhere else.

if you don't have identd the server vendetta.fef.net should work.
