Title: Is there something wrong with the database?
Post by: Lord Blade on September 05, 2013, 01:23:13 AM
I can't seem to get it to work for some reason. I hit search but nothing happens.

Yeah, there is something wrong for some time. Nebulaic Toaster (http://roguebasin.roguelikedevelopment.org/index.php?title=Nebulaic_Toaster&action=submit) is using a trick to show two links, this works in RogueBasin, but the unmatched bracket breaks IRLDb. Slash is away, and I cannot fix the live IRLDb myself :( Well, I could do it by fixing the Nebulaic Toaster description, but this is not the correct fix.

Um... so that's bad, right?
You lost me. I'm just going to go with "it's broken".

Any way to get around it or other site to use?

The IRLDb (http://forums.roguetemple.com/irldb/) has been fixed!

Where are those release dates fetched from? I don't think ADOM has been updated in December 2013 :).

ADOM had two release dates in RogueBasin (for a good reason), and the parser got confused. I have fixed RogueBasin to have one date in the template and the other one only in the article body. IRLDb updates daily, so this should be fixed tomorrow. Thanks!
